| Parking: |
All parking will be handled at Jensen Sables
until such a time that amount of cars exceeds capacity (estimated to be 5-10
years if event grows large). At that point GVH would work with Perinton
Parks and Rec. to shuttle runners from the Community Center area or limit
the field. |
| Course: |
~10K extremely challenging with several
significant climbs, beautiful vistas, running through or around farm fields,
corn fields, forests, trails (incl. Crescent trail system – Indian Hill,
Thayer Hill, Depew, and Camp Piperwood), creeks, ponds, obstacles and lots
of mud. Signage will be temporary stake-in-ground markers that will be
removed immediately post-race. |
| Post Race Cleanup: |
All trails, Town land and Jensen property
will be swept by GVH and associated volunteers immediately following event.
All trails will be returned to the condition they were found in. |
| Giveaways: |
Technical wear from Innovative Edge Sports
and plan to approach Casa Larga or Constellation Brands for custom labeled
wine/juice bottles among other ideas. |
| Awards: |
Awards would be given to overall M/F in Open,
Masters and Veterans categories, as well as top 5 in those divisions.
Seeking community merchant sponsorship for these awards. |

Benefit GVH, Crescent Trail Association,
Perinton Pride and possibly others (e.g. Per.Vol.Amb.) |
| Insurance: |
Procured through USATF (Complete)
Town of Perinton and Jensen Stables listed as Additionally Insured for
1Million. |

Plan to have Perinton Vol. Ambulance on-site
or standby during race only. |

Race format similar to Living History Farms,
Iowa 7 miler - Week before Thanksgiving.
